About SkiStar Snow Parks
SkiStar operates the largest and most popular ski resorts across Scandinavia, including Sälen, Åre, Vemdalen, Trysil, and Hemsedal. Historically, each of these destinations maintained its own uniquely branded snow park with individual names and fragmented visual profiles. The challenge was to consolidate these separate entities into a single, powerful umbrella brand: SkiStar Snow Parks. The objective was to build a cohesive destination brand that appeals to a diverse audience, from kids and beginners to the absolute elite of Nordic freestyle skiers.

Project breakdown / What I did
Built for the snow. Branded for the culture.
Creating an identity for a snow park requires striking a delicate balance. It needs the structural clarity of a corporate umbrella brand, but the raw authenticity of snowboard and freeski culture. A traditional corporate logo would immediately be rejected by the core audience.
To solve this, I developed a bold, high-contrast visual system built around a distinct, stencil-inspired aesthetic. The identity was specifically engineered to be highly functional in extreme physical environments. The primary logotype and graphic elements were designed to be stamped directly onto metal rails, branded onto wooden park features, and worn with pride on the park crew's apparel.
By replacing the fragmented local names with a unified, edge-driven design language, SkiStar Snow Parks established a consistent, premium standard across all their destinations. The result is a brand that seamlessly translates from digital campaigns and print advertisements to the physical reality of the mountain.
